Only Finance managers have the right to mark multiple expenses as paid. To assign the role of Finance Manager, please head to dashboard by typing `settings`. Under basic setting, you can add the name from the dropdown menu for the role.


Once added, finance manager can access the settings dashboard too and open "Finance manager options" section.



Under Unpaid tab all the expenses which are pending for payment will show up. Just select the expenses and mark them as paid.


You can check out the unpaid expense list in Slack and mark them as paid on within slack.

Just type `unpaid` to list all the unpaid expenses or `unpaid @username` to list unpaid expenses of any specific user




You can also generate the report for it. 

Just type ‘unpaid report from dd-mm-YYYY to dd-mm-YYYY’ to get a list of all unpaid expenses between the given dates. 


Another way of marking expenses paid is to do that in your preferred accounting software like Xero and Quickbooks. Once the expense have been marked as paid in the accounting software we automatically update our records as well and notify (in Slack) the employee who submitted the original expense that their expense has now been paid. NOTE: When using this bulk payment feature, the employees will not be notified about their expenses been paid inside Slack.
